2012 IAU MATCH-CROSSBOW WCH - Latest News

Gerold Pfister, head of the Swiss Match Crossbow team informs that the most likely date for the world championship will be from 29th of August till 1st of September 2012.  The final decision about the WC will be announced 15th of February.

The National Federation's of Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland will send teams if the WCH is confirmed in Switzerland.

INVITATION: The 'Würtenbergishen Schützenverban 1850 c.V’  invites all ‘Match’ and ‘Field’ crossbow shooters to take part in a ‘Multi-Country Crossbow Competition’ on May 17.-20. 2012.  The event will take place on the SGi Schützengilde shooting ranges in Stuttgart, Germany. There will be competitions (Team and Individual) in three international crossbow disciplines; 30m ‘Match’, 10m ‘Match’ and ‘Field’ (2x IR900). Preliminary Registrations should be sent to the organizer by February 29, and final registrations before April 30, 2012.

GREAT BRITAIN

The IAU is pleased to welcome the National Smallbore Rifle Association 'NSRA' as members of the IAU Field Division. The NSRA became a member of the IAU Match Division in 1983 and will now represent both international crossbow discipines in Great Britain.

A new website featuring crossbow shooting has been launched by the NSRA's Disabled Shooting Working Group www.disabledshooting.org.uk

Dear Friends,

As Chairman of the Organizing Committee and on behalf of the HUNGARIAN ARCHERY ASSOCIATION, I am pleased to invite you to the INDOOR 'IFAA' HUNGARIAN  'OPEN' ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Competition will take place 18th of February 2012 and will be shot according to the IFAA rules and regulations extended by  Field X-Bow category, giving our friends from International Crossbow-shooting Union (IAU)  the possibility to participate in the event. The competition and award ceremony is held in the exhibition center Hungexpo Hall B.

Everybody is shooting at the same time (if the number of archers stays below 400) making it to an event to remember. The IFAA Hungarian Open, HEACH, Eleven Duel, the and the Eleven 3D will be held simultaneously, (but with differed time schedules) everyone can attend all competitions if they want. The registration fee for the competitors includes the entrance fee of the HUNGEXPO.  Registration and entrance at Gate2 !
