The IAU Executive Committee is pleased to announce that the EUROPEAN CROSSBOW CHAMPIONSHIPS (IAU Match 10/30m and Field IR-1800) will take place at Innsbruck, Austria on 2.-8. September 2013. The Match-crossbow events will be held at the Tirol Regional Shooting Ranges, Innsbruck - the same venue used for the annual Austria-Open 10/30m Match-crossbow competitions. On February 18, IAU Secretary General Charles Mechin (FRA) and IAU Field Technical Committee Member Andreas Henne (GER) travelled to Innsbruck to attend a meeting with Austrian Shooting Federation Officials to study the organizational details for the European Championships. During their visit Charles and Andreas inspected the site for the Field-crossbow event at the Tivoli Stadium Innsbruck (pictured). CM

The Official European Championships Invitations will be sent out by the Austrian Shooting Federation in April.
