IAU ECH CHÂTEAUROUX - Actual information as of 24.07.2026

The deadline for registration for the IAU European Championships in Châteauroux 2026 has passed. No late entries were registered.

Based on the numbers of registrations, the Organising Committee, along with the IAU, has issued a new time schedule, allowing athletes and coaches to move along disciplines without much hassle and effort. 

The new time schedule can be seen and downloaded here. Team Leads are asked to inform their ahletes accordingly.

World Cup 30m Sezemice (CZE) goes in its 2nd Year

After the big surprise of 2025, when a group of crossbow enthusiasts turned a regional shooting range into a world class location for 30m Match Crossbow, they want to do it again. 

This year, the schedule is open for more shooters, offering additional possibility to compete in Sezemice Cup, where their actual category counts. The Organiser aims to attract more U23 and Seniors, as a part of the IAU long-term strategy of increasing international start possibilities to as many shooters as possible.

At the usual places in the Calendar section, you can find the invitation, time schedule and entry forms for the two instances of the World Cup and the entry form for the Sezemice Cup.

Veliko Trgovišće IAU World Cup and 31st Croatia Cup 2026 - Reports

The second competition in the 2026 IAU World Cup series was held in the small town of Veliko Trgovišće in Hrvatsko Zagorje.
The competition featured 17 male and 13 female competitors.
The members of the Shooting Association "Veliko Trgovišće" proved to be excellent organisers.
In the men's competition, the winner was Croatian Domagoj Pereglin with the day's best result of 875, followed by the second Croatian, Marijan Kajfeš, with 864, and in third place, Borna Bajser, with 861.
Croatian women won the first two places in the women's competition. Valentina Mrnjavčić Pereglin won with a score of 870, ahead of Mihaela Oborovečki (853) and in third place was Frenchwoman Ludvine Jacob (849).
The day before, on the football field, while the shooting range was being prepared, there was a windstorm. Several tents were blown through the air and eventually broken. At the very beginning of the competition, heavy rain fell, and it was postponed by 15 minutes.

After this 1st IAU World Cup, the 2026 IAU World Ranking List was set up for MEN and WOMEN.
The 31st Croatia Cup in the Field discipline IR900 was also held during this competition, with 37 competitors participating. The competition was in both team and individual categories. The teams were mixed, comprising three members from different categories. The CRO 2 team won ahead of CRO 1, and the FRA 2 team came in third. 
On July 19, 2026, the 31st Croatia Cup competition in the IAU Field Match Play discipline ended. Everyone shot 30 qualifying arrows at a distance of 35m. Following this elimination, direct duels were later held according to the classic pattern: first against last, second against penultimate, and so on.
In the exciting duel matches, attended by numerous spectators, the following fights took place:
In the women's competition, Croatian cadet Veronika Forjan defeated French Laura Chauvelot 6:2. In the fight for the bronze medal, Croatian cadet Patricija Seljan (CRO) defeated Mihaela Oborovečki (CRO) 6:2.
In the men's competition, Croatian Domagoj Pereglin defeated Aurelien Collin 5:3. A little earlier, in the battle for 3rd place, Czech junior Denis Vyskočil defeated Croatian Martin Oborovečki 5:1.

This final match concludes the second step of the IAU World Cup Field Series. It can be said that the 31st Croatia Cup was a good preparation for all competitors ahead of the upcoming European Championship, which will be held at the Olympic Shooting Range in Châteauroux, France.

Update to IAU World Cup Veliko Trgovišće, Croatia 2026

The regular registration period for the 2nd IAU World Cup Field 2026 has expired. See the list of registered athletes. We wish the organiser, the Veliko Trgovišće Shooting Club, every success in organising this great competition.

The IAU Technical Delegate for this competition is Mr Dragutin Vrbek, IAU Secretary General.

The 1st IAU Field Cup 2026 in Kostelec na Hané has ended



The first competition in the 2026 IAU World Cup series was held in the beautiful small Czech town of Kostelec na Hané.


Twenty-six competitors from 6 countries competed in an excellent sporting contest, in pleasant surroundings, with excellent organisation by the Czech Field Crossbow Association and the crossbow clubs Savana from Kostelec na Hané and Falcon Crossbow Plumlov.

 

In the men's competition, the winner was Croatian Domagoj Pereglin with the day's best result of 872, followed by the second Croatian, Martin Oborovečki, with 865, and Marijan Kajfeš, with 856.

Croatian women won the first three places in the women's competition. Mihaela Oborovečki won with a score of 844, ahead of Veronika Forjan (843) and Sanja Komar (837).

After this 1st IAU World Cup, the 2026 IAU World Ranking List was set up for MEN and WOMEN.

The 3rd Plumlov Cup in the Field discipline IR900 was also held during this competition, with 34 competitors participating. The competition was in both team and individual categories. The teams were mixed, comprising three members from different categories. The CRO 1 team won ahead of CRO 2, and the CZE 1 team came in third. On June 28, 2026, the 3rd Moravia Cup competition in the IAU Field Match Play discipline ended. After the change of the IAU Field rules in the Match Play discipline, the new rules were tested for the first time. Namely, the qualifications were held at first. Everyone shot 30 arrows at a distance of 35m. Following this elimination, direct duels were later held according to the classic pattern: first against last, second against penultimate, and so on.

 

In the exciting duel matches, attended by a large number of spectators, the following fights took place:

  • In the women's competition, French competitor Zoe Dewicki defeated the domestic competitor Hana Nedělníkovâ with 5:3. In the fight for the bronze medal, Törökne Zsoter Judit (HUN) defeated Mihaela Oborovečki (CRO) 6:4.
  • In the men's competition, two Croatians fought for gold. After an exciting fight, Borna Bajser, a Croatian junior, defeated Domagoj Pereglin, multiple world champion and record holder, 6:4. A little earlier, in the battle for 3rd place, the Croatian competitor Marijan Kajfeš defeated another Croatian junior, Lovro Bjelobrk, 6:4.
